National Window of Service for Veterans: Our 2025 Impact

DLH’s annual National Window of Service for Veterans (NWS) showcases what makes our workforce so remarkable—our team’s commitment to honoring and supporting Veterans, active-duty Service Members, and military families.

From September 11 (Patriot Day) to November 11 (Veterans Day), DLHers across the company dedicated their time, energy, and compassion to supporting Veterans and the broader military community. 

From volunteering with the 9/11 Day Foundation to engaging with the National Military Family Association, showing up for Donor Outreach for Veterans (DOVE), learning about Honor Flight, or providing resources at VA Stand Downs, our employees’ efforts reflect DLH’s enduring commitment to serve those who have served us. Each contribution—large or small—helps strengthen our connection to the communities around us, and it is a privilege to see that commitment in action.

DLH’s 2025 NWS Impact

• This year’s NWS events distributed $45,000 to incredible missions supporting Veterans and the military community across the country.
• During our NWS, DLHers partnered up with 10 nonprofit organizations, spreading our impact both near and far.
• 75+ DLHers attended at least one NWS event. A special shoutout to those who participated in planning NWS this year.
• Throughout our 2-month-long NWS calendar, we hosted 13 events. DLHers came together for both in-person and virtual volunteer opportunities.
