DLH senior research scientist Aimee D’Aloisio was among the authors of a podium presentation at the 2018 International Society of Exposure Science and the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology that shared findings from the Sister Study. The researchers analyzed the associations between residential greenness and physical activity and self-reported well-being and the impact of using different metrics for exposure assessment, and proposed future directions for this research. Other authors of the presentation included researchers from the Environmental Protection Agency, Carleton University, and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.
