DLH on Winning Team for Army Medical Product Research and Development Contract Award

DLH-USAMMDA

Atlanta, Georgia (August 31, 2015)—DLH has been awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for medical products research, and prototype (MPRD) development services in a subcontractor role. This contract supports the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity (USAMMDA) and the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA), both of which are headquartered in Fort Detrick, Maryland. Under this multiple award ID/IQ contract DLH will compete for task orders to support all aspects of the U.S. Army’s medical product/device development and life cycle support. Included in our scope will be project management, technical expertise/assistance, strategic planning, market analysis, training, administrative activities, pharmaceutical manufacturing and testing, integrated logistics support, and other functional support areas. This contract expands DLH’s health services support base and will be a catalyst in developing strong medical products designed to protect and preserve the lives of Service Members. We expect to provide these services for up to a five-year period, though renewal options could extend the engagement up to a total of ten years.
