DLH Achieves Joint Commission Certification for Clinical Services

Atlanta, Georgia (December 11, 2018)—DLH Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: DLHC) announced today it has earned the Gold Seal of Approval® from The Joint Commission, an independent leading national certification body, for the quality and safety of its clinical healthcare staffing services. This certification results from an independent verification that the people, technology, and processes DLH delivers to the Veterans Affairs (VA) consolidated mail outpatient pharmacy (CMOP) program adhere to industry best practices as defined by The Joint Commission standards body.

DLH earned the certification following rigorous onsite reviews, during which Joint Commission experts evaluated compliance with national standards that assess the quality of DLH’s clinical personnel, its use of key performance metrics to monitor its execution, and methods of data/records collection and retention.

“This achievement enhances our competitiveness and reaffirms our investment over the years to measure, manage, and optimize our service delivery and end-customer satisfaction to our Government clients,” stated DLH Chief Executive Officer Zach Parker. Just recently, the VA CMOP program received the J.D. Power award for achieving the highest scoring for customer satisfaction when compared to commercial industry operations.

“DLH is pleased to receive certification from The Joint Commission, the premier quality improvement and accrediting body in the Nation,” commented Kevin Wilson, president of DLH’s Health and Logistics Services. “Healthcare staffing services certification demonstrates our commitment and accountability to clients and the healthcare professionals we employ. This certification helps us to establish, define, and measure key functional areas of performance applicable to the entire industry.”
