DLH WINS U.S. ARMY MEDICAL MATERIAL AGENCY’S (USAMMA) PROFESSIONAL & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SERVICES CONTRACT
Atlanta, Georgia – September 12, 2013–DLH Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: DLHC), a technical services provider to U.S. Government agencies specializing in health, logistics, and contingency response programs announced today that it is part of a team which was awarded an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide continuous professional administrative and management support services with the Army’s leading agency for strategic medical logistics programs and initiatives. DLH will selectively compete for task orders that focus on the medical logistician’s role in lifecycle management, sustaining and modernizing the medical force (Active, Guard, and Reserve), supporting exercises and contingency operations, and promoting medical logistics information and knowledge.
Under the terms of the contract, DLH will provide support to USAMMA’s (headquartered at Fort Detrick, Maryland) worldwide missions in its core competencies of managing medical materiel lifecycle projects, equipping and sustaining the US Military Medical Forces, and managing medical strategic centralized programs. These programs include the acquisition, storage, distribution and transfer of prepositioned stocks located ashore and afloat, as well as medical chemical defense packages and short shelf life pharmaceuticals and other materiel. Integral to this support are partnerships with defense organizations and industry. DLH and our partners will hold positions with government’s medical logistics teams to provide more efficient and accurate ways to deliver and manage precision packages and biomedical maintenance capabilities. DLH expects to provide these services for up to a five-year period as a subcontractor on this contract.
